The Animaga 2025 Drawing Competition is officially open, and this year’s theme is one that promises mystery, wonder, and creative chaos: “Time and Witch.”

What does this theme mean for you as an artist?
Imagine spellcasters drifting between centuries… cursed clocks ticking backwards… ancient witches who rewrite history with every flick of their wand. Whether your artistic style is bold and surreal or soft and whimsical, this is your moment to let the theme guide your imagination to places untold.

The competition is open to both Fine Art and Digital Art creators. If you’ve got a story to tell through your artwork, there’s a wall waiting for you at Animaga 2025, held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on 24-25th August.

No pre-entry. Just bring your completed artwork to the event and enter onsite.

All submitted works will be showcased during the event for thousands to admire. Our panel of judges will award prizes to the most captivating entries across categories, and perhaps, your work could be among them.
