ITASHA (痛車, literally “painful car”) it is a Japanese term for an otaku fad of individuals decorating the bodies of their cars with fictional characters of anime, manga, or video games. Why “painful car”? Reasoning, that it would be painfully embarrassing to drive around in one, but like Itasha drivers in Japan and all over the world, they are not embarrassed to share their passion and connect with others with the same interests. Most commonly found in the streets of Akihabara (Tokyo, Japan) will now be making an appearance @ Animaga 2018 (Melbourne, Australia)
Animaga will be looking for such individuals with an Itasha, to display their pride and joy at our event for the people to see.
