Terms & Condition
- Purpose & Eligibility:
- The Animaga 2023 Performance Stage is designed to promote and showcase talent in the areas of music, dance and creativity in the local Anime community.
- Entry is open to anime music bands, solo artists, buskers, and idol performance groups.
- Some level of professionalism is expected and we will be using your supplied footage to evaluate you.
- Participants under 18 years old at the time of the event must have written consent sent to performances@animaga.com.au from a guardian to perform prior to the event.
- Application & Selection:
- All interested performers must complete the official Animaga 2023 performance stage application form by 11th October, 2023
- The selection process will consider the quality, relevance, and appropriateness of the act for the event’s audience.
- Animaga reserves the right to approve or reject any application and is under no obligation to provide reasons for its decisions.
- Performance Slots:
- Performers can choose their preferred time slot, however Animaga reserves the right to program outside of your preferences. The duration will be communicated upon selection.
- Time slots must be strictly adhered to – we may shorten your performance if it runs significantly overtime.
- Merchandising Booths:
- Selected performers may be provided with booth space for the sale of CDs, merchandise or related items.
- Allocation, size, and location of booths are subject to availability and at Animaga’s discretion.
- All sales must comply with local regulations and laws.
- Content sold at merchandise booths must not be explicit in nature and be family-friendly.
- Passes & Admission:
- Once applications are approved, performers will receive a set number of complimentary passes based on group size, and staff size.
- Extra passes for fans clubs can be acquired at standard rates.
- Content & Conduct:
- All content must be family-friendly. Explicit or offensive lyrics, themes, or dance moves are strictly prohibited.
- Performers must maintain professional conduct both on and off the stage.
- Animaga reserves the right to stop any performance that breaches these rules.
- Equipment & Setup:
- Acts must supply their instruments and any special equipment.
- Stage equipment such as lights, amplified speakers, foldbacks mics, and soundbar speakers will be provided.
- Sound checks will be scheduled on bump in day.
- Safety & Liability:
- Animaga is not responsible for any loss or damage to performancer’s own equipment.
- Performers are advised to insure their equipment.
- Safety protocols, provided during orientation, must be followed at all times.
- Media & Promotional Rights:
- Animaga can capture performances in any format for promotional purposes.
- By performing, artists grant Animaga rights to use their image, sound, and likeness.
- Cancellation & Changes:
- If an act needs to withdraw, Animaga must be informed at least 14 days prior.
- Any changes to the act, including members or content, must be communicated and approved.
Caveats & Important Notes:
Professionalism: While Animaga is a platform for both seasoned and budding talents, a certain degree of professionalism is expected from all performers. This not only pertains to the quality of the performance but also to interactions off-stage and adherence to scheduled timings.
Content Screening: Animaga upholds a family-friendly environment. We reserve the right to screen and review any and all content, including merchandise, before it is showcased or sold at the event. Any content deemed inappropriate will be disallowed.
Equipment Responsibility: While Animaga provides certain stage equipment, it is the performers’ responsibility to handle their own instruments and specialty equipment. All equipment brought to the venue should be insured, as Animaga will not bear responsibility for any damages or losses.
Promotional Rights: Animaga holds promotional rights for the event. By performing, you grant permission for any recording or capturing of the performance to be used in future promotional activities without further consent.
Changes & Communication: Any changes in the performance act, member lineup, or content must be communicated at the earliest convenience. Last-minute changes might not be accommodated.
Guardian Consent for Minors: For participants under 18, it is mandatory to provide written consent from guardians. This is non-negotiable and is crucial for participation.
