Tomoyo Takayanagi is Joining Animaga Melbourne 2026
Our guest lineup for Animaga Melbourne 2026 is continuing to grow, and we are really happy to announce that voice actress Tomoyo Takayanagi will be joining us at the MCEC this August 29 and 30. Known for her warm, engaging performances and solid versatility, she has built an impressive career bringing a wide array of memorable characters to life across both anime and gaming.
If you are a fan of the massive multimedia franchise Uma Musume: Pretty Derby, you will instantly recognize her as the voice behind the legendary racer Oguri Cap. Beyond the racetrack, her anime repertoire includes voicing the passionate stargazing lead Mira Konohata in the slice-of-life series Asteroid in Love, the dependable magical girl Mikan Hinatsuki in the hit comedy The Demon Girl Next Door, and Sarina Tendouji in the massive hit Oshi no Ko.
Her talent spans heavily into the gaming world as well. RPG fans will know her as the voice of Lapis in Fire Emblem Engage, Pala in Octopath Traveler II, and Kokoro Utsubo in Blue Reflection: Second Light. She has also been cast as the voice of Estelle Bright in the upcoming Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter remake.
It is always great having a voice actress with such a varied and fun range of characters at Animaga. We are really looking forward to giving Tomoyo Takayanagi a proper welcome to Melbourne. Having her live on the main stage during her panels will be a great chance for fans to hear firsthand stories about her career and learn what it is like behind the mic in the recording booth.
