Arriving at Animaga Sydney next March, this immersive interactive space welcomes long-time Japanese fashion enthusiasts, lovers of Old School Elegant Gothic Lolita (EGL), and newcomers exploring alternative subcultures for the first time.
Immerse yourself in hands-on DIY crafting sessions, discover curated indie brand shopping, capture picture-perfect moments at dedicated aesthetic photo setups, and witness stunning coordinates take the spotlight on the community runway fashion show.
Lolita & Ouji Fashion Showcase | Animaga Sydney 2027
Take the stage and showcase your favorite coordinates at the official Lolita & Ouji Fashion Showcase! Arriving at Animaga Sydney next March, this community runway welcomes participants wearing Lolita, Ouji, and Japanese alternative fashion styles to share their passion, creativity, and personal coordination with fellow enthusiasts.
Whether your aesthetic leans toward Sweet, Classic, Gothic, Punk, or Ouji tailoring, the showcase offers an inclusive, supportive spotlight to celebrate the artistry of Japanese street fashion in front of an appreciative audience.
Showcase Registration & Schedule
Specific runway times, stage locations, and registration cutoff dates will be announced in the lead-up to Animaga Sydney next March.
Advance online model registration will open closer to the event, alongside limited on-the-day sign-ups at the dedicated Lolita & Alternative Fashion Area (subject to capacity). Registered participants will receive comprehensive run sheets and staging instructions via email prior to rehearsal call times.

Design and assemble your dream accessory from scratch at our hands-on crafting station! Choose from an extensive selection of delicate laces, ribbons, trims, and decorative charms to build a fully personalized headdress that perfectly complements your coordinates.
Participation is flexible and straightforward—craft your piece using the provided station tools, and simply pay for your finished headdress by weight at $0.45 per gram.

Alongside curated secondhand fashion, discover handmade, Old School EGL-inspired accessories crafted by Laced Up Angel, including classic lace head-dresses, jabots, and detailed gothic accents.
