Focused on everything from anime-aesthetic resin sculpts to vinyl and pop-culture ball-jointed figures, this space serves as an interactive social hub for seasoned hobbyists to connect, exchange customization techniques, and appreciate the meticulous craftsmanship that makes every doll one of a kind.

Community Display & Social Meetups
Collectors are warmly invited to bring their dolls along to participate in our communal display cabinets and weekend social meetups. To help showcase your doll’s unique character and styling, our bespoke scale photo booths are returning with fresh visual concepts tailored specifically for Sydney. These custom-crafted miniature backdrops offer the perfect lighting and scale for portrait photography, whether your dolls wear historical garments, modern streetwear, or elaborate fantasy couture.

How to Participate
Entering is simple and happens right on the convention floor:
Bring Your Doll: Head over to the BJD Area on Saturday.
Take Your Shot: Snap your photo in the designated BJD display zone using our on-site Fujifilm Instax Mini camera (or backup camera options available at the desk).
Submit On-Site: Hand in your instant photo entry directly at the BJD Area desk on Saturday before the end of event hours.
Schedule & Key Times
Submission Window: Saturday (Opening – End of Event Hours)
Community Voting: Sunday until 3:00 PM
Winner Announcement & Prize Presentation: Sunday at 3:30 PM

By sharing your work, you will be entered for a chance to win award certificates and the prize packs shown in the photo above.
Location: All photos must be taken on-site in the BJD Area on Saturday.
