Yui Makino is Coming to Animaga Melbourne 2026

Melbourne, our guest lineup is continuing to grow. We are very happy to announce our fourth voice actor guest for Animaga Melbourne 2026. This August, we will be welcoming the talented voice actress, singer, and pianist, Yui Makino (牧野由依), to the MCEC.

If you are a fan of classic anime, you will definitely recognize her gentle voice. She is well known for bringing Sakura to life in Tsubasa Chronicle and voicing Misaki Nakahara in the standout series Welcome to the N.H.K. She also voices Mayu Sakuma in the massive idol franchise The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls, showcasing her great range and consistency in the recording booth.

Alongside her solid voice acting career, Yui Makino is also a beautiful singer and an accomplished pianist. Fans of atmospheric and relaxing series will know her musical work well, as she has performed the memorable theme songs for beloved shows like Aria the Animation. Having a guest with such a deep background in both voice acting and musical performance brings something really special to the convention weekend.

This is a wonderful opportunity to meet her in person. She will be joining us for the weekend at the MCEC on August 29 and 30.
