Animaga is returning to Melbourne on August 29-30, 2026 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) — and we are now opening applications for Exhibitors and Artist Alley!

Artist Alley Applications: Now Open
The Artist Alley has always been the creative core of Animaga. It is the dedicated space where unique fan art, custom apparel, enamel pins, handmade crafts, and original comics truly shine.
We want to celebrate the incredible makers who share a deep love for Japanese pop culture, gaming, and manga. Animaga Melbourne is the ultimate place to display your hard work, build your brand, and meet a massive crowd of fellow fans and potential customers.

Selection Pathway:
To ensure an engaging and diverse lineup, applications will be carefully reviewed based on the following criteria:
- Connection to Anime, Manga, or Gaming Themes: Preference will be given to works inspired by these popular genres.
- Diversity of Styles and Techniques: We love showcasing a wide variety of art forms and techniques!
- Quality and Creativity: Submissions should demonstrate artistic skill, originality, and dedication.
- Handmade Creations: Handmade and crafted items will be prioritized.
- No AI-Generated Art: To celebrate genuine artistic talent, only hand-drawn or traditionally designed work will be accepted.
Artist Alley & Exhibitor Applications Now Closed
Applications for Animaga Melbourne 2026 are now officially closed. We appreciate the interest from all the artists and exhibitors who submitted their requests to participate in the event at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) on August 29–30, 2026.
Our team has received a high volume of submissions. We are currently in the process of reviewing all applications to finalize the floorplan for the thousands of attendees joining us this August. All applicants will be contacted via email regarding the status of their placement.
