Get ready to dazzle the stage and showcase your spectacular cosplays! Animaga presents the ultimate platform for all cosplay enthusiasts, spanning a variety of genres. Whether you’re an anime aficionado or a movie maven, this is your moment to shine!

📆 Competition Schedule:

11th November: 15:00, Main Stage
12th November: 14:00, Main Stage

🌐 Participation Modes:

  1. Walk-on: Gracefully walk onto the stage, strike your iconic poses at the marked locations, and capture the audience’s admiration.
  2. Skit/Performance: This is where you get to infuse life into your characters! Whether it’s singing, dancing, scripted acting, or another exciting form of performance – steal the spotlight!

  • Best in Show: The creme de la creme of cosplay!
  • Best Group: Teamwork makes the dream work!
  • Best Performance: For those who make their characters come alive.
  • Best Craftsmanship: Recognizing the detailed, handmade marvels.
  • Judge’s Award: A special mention that’s sure to make you beam!

Got a handmade costume? 🧵 We are eagerly waiting to marvel at your craftsmanship. Don’t shy away from having it judged!

📅 On the Day of the Competition:

  • 1 pm: Be punctual! All contestants need to check-in.
  • Pre-judging: Our esteemed Cosplay Ambassadors will take the helm, closely inspecting each cosplay. You might receive a few questions, so be prepared! This session will be on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. Details about this will be emailed to you and also shared during check-in.
  • Marshalling: Starts 30 minutes prior to the competition. This is where the excitement really starts to build up!
  • The Show: Each contestant will be introduced on stage. The MC will provide insights about your cosplay based on your entry form. And here’s a fun twist: be ready to answer a single question about your cosplay. (Skits are an exception) Then, pose away and bask in the limelight before your grand exit.

Note: Both Check-in and Marshalling are MANDATORY for all contestants. Not attending? You might be facing disqualification.

Encounter an unexpected cosplay snag? No need to panic—Captain Patchit is at the ready in our Cosplay Repair Corner! 

Loose stitches, unexpected rips, or a rebellious prop refusing to cooperate? We understand the drama that comes with cosplay wear and tear. That’s why we’ve set up a superhero hub where quick fixes are just a stitch away.

Cosplay Support station:

  • 📍 Strategic Location: Find Captain Patchit’s booth conveniently within the convention space.
  • 🔧 All-Round Repairs: Sewing snafus, adhesive issues, and more—solved on the spot!
  • 🔨 Fully Equipped: Our arsenal includes all the tools and supplies your cosplay might demand. 

Rain or shine, Captain Patchit is your cosplay’s guardian, committed to ensuring that your attire remains impeccable from the opening ceremony to the closing event. Walk the convention halls with your head high, your costume intact, and your spirit undimmed.
