Call for Artists! Join the Animaga Artist Alley
Every year we welcome hundreds of artists from all over to our Artist Alley – Animaga’s pride and joy! Whether you’re a hobbyist or a professional artist, the Animaga Artist Alley is a great place to exhibit, sell, and showcase your talent and creativity.
Selection Pathway:
Based on invaluable advice from prior artists and attendees, a selection process is now in place for the Animaga 2023 Artist Alley. This ensures each submitted application will be carefully weighed up based on some established rules. The major elements playing a part in this check are:
- Connection with Japanese Anime, Manga, or Gaming Themes: Works relating to these themes will be favored.
- Variety in Art Forms and Techniques: It’s great to see different styles and ways of creating art.
- High-Quality Work: It’s important that the work shows varied artistic styles, skills and mediums.
- Handmade Pieces: Handcrafted items are highly valued.
- No AI Artwork: Art created by artificial intelligence won’t be considered for sale.

At Animaga, we believe in supporting new starters who may not be able to afford the cost of an exhibitor booth. In Animaga 2024, there will be 10 spots for small traders to sell licensed anime items alongside our Artist Alley.
Whether you specialize in figures, keychains, posters, or other anime collectibles, this is your chance to showcase and sell your products to a dedicated audience of anime enthusiasts.
